TB2 - Peacock Farms Community: the legacy of site-specific living

The founding architect leads us on a unique tour in and around several of the 65 standard, but highly adaptable,
homes that make up the Peacock Farms neighborhood located in Lexington, Massachusetts. Led by Walter Pierce FAIA.
TB3 - Two modern houses

This tour highlights modernist residential building in two of Boston's suburbs. Designed by the architect for his
family in 1963, the Flansburgh residence in Lincoln is a simple but elegant structure built around a central
courtyard. The Boyer residence (ARC/Architectural Resources, Cambridge) in Lincoln was designed to display the owner's
collection of modern art and was featured as a 1972 Record House; Peter Sugar designed the most recent addition to
the home. Led by Earl Flansburgh FAIA and Peter Sugar AIA.
TB4 - Shepley Bulfinch at Harvard: vision and legacy

With over 100 projects on the Harvard campus, from H. H. Richardson’s first work there in 1880 to the current
renovation of Gallatin Hall at Harvard Business School, this Boston firm’s buildings of enduring quality and
design have advanced Harvard’s visions of community and sustainability. Led by Thomas Kearns AIA and Terri Evans.
TB5 - Northpoint: Cambridge’s newest neighborhood

TB6 - The development of the Rose Kennedy Greenway: lecture and

Officially opened in 2008, the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway is Boston's new mile-long civic parkland, created
to take the place of the old Central Artery that once divided Boston's communities. Robert A. Brown, senior
partner in the office of CBT, past-president of the BSA, and a member of the Mayor's Central Artery Completion
Task Force, leads an illustrated talk and tour of the Greenway. Led by Robert Brown AIA, IIDA.
